Dr. Ayse Washington
Dr. Ayse Washington was born in New York and migrated to Florida in 1983. After receiving her undergraduate degrees at the University of Florida she graduated from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She then completed an internship in medicine, critical care and surgery at New Have Central Hospital in Connecticut. She has spent 6 years practicing emergency medicine and critical care at various referral hospitals and the rest of her career has been spent in general practice. She is currently working on a certification in Acupuncture and soon plans to pursue a board certification in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. She is interested in energy work, and enjoys camping and hiking with her husband and pets in the mountains.
Dr. Janel Buela, DVM
Dr. Janel Buela has been a member of the DPC family since 2006. In addition to seeing appointments, she is also one of our surgeons. She was born in the Philippines, where she graduated from De La Salle Araneta University in 2002. Dr. Buela is well known for her kind and compassionate nature, and impeccable bedside manner. She aspires to become a board certified surgeon and is constantly working to expand her skills. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, sketching and cultivating aquatic plants. She has a Himalayan and a Siamese cat, who are the loves of her life.
Dr. Vincent LoDuca, DVM
Dr. LoDuca has been a part of the DPC Veterinary staff for over three years. He has an extensive background in emergency medicine. He is also a very skilled and experienced surgeon. He graduated in 1976 from the Tuskegee Institute and has been practicing small animal medicine in Florida since 1977. He has a beloved pit-bull named Beau; whom we are all very fond of.
Dr. Catalina Kesserü, DVM
Dr. Catalina Kesserü, was born in West Berlin, Germany. She received her DVM degree from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and successfully completed the ECFVG (Educational Commission for Foreign Graduates) in 2008. She has been an AVMA member since 2009. Her special interests are in internal medicine and endocrinology. She also enjoys fencing and jogging in her spare time. Dr. Kesserü is happy to communicate in Spanish as well.
